Thanks Dennis, that's a help. I have had oil pressure concerns when ambient temp was really high, however, and the engine struggled to keep cool enough. But, since then I've revamped the cooling system, and discovered that my oil pressure concerns were more concerns than problems -- the monitoring system was haywire, not the oil pressure. So you think that if it has a modern rating, it should be ok in the 20W50 grade, whatever brand? thanks again
