Subject: Water tank level gauge on '91 Westfalia
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed

Hey everyone,

Has anyone run into the following problem? The float moves freely within the tank but doesn't register anything other than green (100% full). Over the winter I lengthened my pump hose (so that the pump would sit flat within the tank and not leave any water un-useable) but other than that I've not modified anything else in the water system. The float was sitting at the bottom of the empty tank last time I had it open (with green light illuminated on the gauge).

There is however, a possibility that I've got other wiring issues at my aux battery that may be affecting this problem; I've still not had time to diagnose my battery drain problem with the aux batt installation. That's my only other problem source that I can figure...

Any ideas or experience in this issues is appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Sincerely,
