More than one of those cheap portable hot shot devices makes available. Because I hate to leave a person in need, and a shortcoming of the Prius is that one is not supposed to jump another vehicle with it (though it can accept a jump and even has accessible ports for the purpose, since the starting battery is sort of hard to get to), I bought one of those. It would not turn over two different stranded vehicles, though it's indicator lights showed a full charge. I tried it on the camper, same result. So, it was a waste. Does anyone know of one that has a higher amp output and has performed well? David McNeely |
