The cradle is at the flywheel end? Engine properly supported, does one need to remove mount at pulley end of Zetec so pulley end of engine can be adjusted up/down to help with transmission R&R? I bet transmission R&R info is in the Zetec user group website. On my Jetta swap, my carrier (cradle) is ~ mid engine. On my first transmission swap, even with engine supported, it tilted toward the rear bumper when transmission removed. This caused trouble for transmission installation. Raising pulley end of engine effectively lowered shifter end of transmission so it cleared the subframe when aligning and pushing it onto engine. Just a thought...
