Jacked the rear end way up and ran her @2800rpm with the pressure cap off and h-pipe bleeder open, closed it all down, let her cool, and then did it again. The engine front upper coolant pipes with the h-fitting never do fill up solidly with coolant and nothing has ever come out of that bleeder in the three times I've bled Cunegonde since I got her. But the temp gauge shows her back down to her usual low-normal no matter how high/how long I rev her in neutral. Admittedly, the weather has been in the 50s and 60s here. Then went for test drive to the gas station and back, and the temp is at low-normal. Taking off for Portland tomorrow, will check fuel efficiency with a top-up in Olympia. Let's hope she's UP to her usual high-normal 19-21mpg! Then Portland-Grant's Pass on Sunday. Will send a list report if after a new O2 sensor, Temp II sender, and bleed, she's still running hot but rich.
