Subject:   1.9 GL - Rad fan frequent running
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

So this may seem a silly question but having not driven a 1.9 in many years I have to ask.

My radiator fan seems to turn on more often than what I am used to. Could be nothing I just don't know. The temp needle doesn't ever go much higher than the led so there is not indication of excessive heat there - I have also not noticed any other signs that things aren't right.

Still under seemingly normal driving conditions - in non-excessive outside temperatures I still notice that the fan comes on quite often. Everytime I drive it I get this.

No coolant leaks - no needing to add any coolant.

The bus does currently have all heater (front and rear) lines removed and the normal flow re routed at the engine. There was a good reason the PO did this and it was meant as a temporary fix - I'll be reinstalling new line this summer.

So is this something I should be concerned about? Like I said with the exception of that fan coming on often I see no signs of trouble - and maybe that is a rather nromal occurance, I'm just not sure.

Your input is greatly appreciated.
