I have posted many emails about my VW I4 swap. I figure if my mistakes/victories help even one other person, it's worth posting. FWIW, I too have found the VAG Yahoo group to be pretty inactive. I started a Vanagon/Bay inline/V gas engine google group a while back. Link is in my sig below! Neil.
