It's on the heavier vehicle. Should be torqued to the receiving vehicle specs. By that I mean use specs for alloy wheels in Vanagon. Don't have the exact numbers here.

BTW, assuming you have the correct hardware to match the contours of the lughole. For example, you put a ballseat lugnut in a conical seat hole, you are applying the torque only in the portion that is touching. Think wooden ball on top of a book shelf vs. block of wood on the same shelf. Pressure would be at the point of the ball vs. Evenly distributed on the block of wood. Holding ability is dramatically different as torque on the wrong type of lugseat.
