OK gang her's the scoop. I know that the tank on Gertie (the '85) needs to be dropped and a resealed. However, I also think the tank is full of crud. So I have a couple of ideas 1. A new tnak (I don't have the cash right now) 2. Steal the tank from Grover (the '90) and put it in Gertie So aside from the tank outlet being a different diameter are there any other differences I should expect? Filler tube size? Anything? Also, I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice on how one might clean a tank of crud once the tank is freed from the bus. I mean are there any particular solvents or cleaners to use?
