Brian T. I have not removed my drain plug in years. I purchased a pump on ebay and pump the oil out from the dipstick tube. They do this on the new VWs and Audis at the shop. Takes a bit longer on the westy with the thicker oil. Makes sure you warm the engine up before you try this. Pump is a peristaltic pump. Gary
