Vanagons are specified for a 500 CCA battery, which is to say that at (0C? 0F?) the battery will supply five hundred amps for thirty seconds without dropping below (eight volts?). Gotta go find that ammeter...or visit the FLAPS. The thing's forty years old and held together with electrical tape -- it doesn't owe me anything.
