The other portable on the GW site is the Engel. Quite a bit more money, but a top notch refer.

I'm kind of leaning towards a portable. I like the idea of being able to bring it along even if I'm in someone else's vehicle. I also like the idea of being able to use it right away and not have to wait until I have the time to install it!

The Truckfridge website is only showing their own brand, but there seems to be a great special on portables<http://www.truckfridge.com/portable_models.html>with shipping included. They don't display the amp draw for their portables. Does anyone know what it is?
