I find it curious that people get upset by the rules of this mailing
list. The list was set up by an individual (Gerry S.) years ago, with
rules, and has continued that way.

One can join the list and accept the rules or one does not join.

It is as one pleases. No one is controlling anyone.

People are free to leave if they don't like the rules.

And we went through all of this before, polling members about posting
guidelines etc.

its not a "democracy" , its a mailing list, privately owned.
