hi, there's no 'return from the tank'. there is return 'to' the tank though.. and you could disconnec that line, hot wire the fuel pump, and run it until it pumps all it can out of the fuel tank.

or , just take a hose off the aft end of the fuel pump .....that's easier yet, and pump out the tank that way, as much as will easily come out. I've done it many times. as long as there is a little bit of fuel gurgling in the the fuel pump it'll be all right. don't do it for hours of course, but a few minutes of pumping some air with fuel mixed in it is OK.

then add your fresh, make sure your fuel filter is good - doing all that works. Treat the fuel too... with Sta-bile fuel stabizer, Sea Faom, an good injector cleaner, even marvel mystery oil .....but do something to treat the fuel and injectors some. Scott www.turbovans.com
