Don't worry. I got plenty coming to the list.  Once I get my van in the air
and the new radiator shows up I should have a very funny and slightly
educational radiator install video.

After that I have to deal with a wobbly tire, a complete dash removal to
replace the heater core and fan, my chattering clutch which is now the 4th
chattering clutch I've had since I've owned the van. I'm 5 minutes away from
ordering BD's best clutch that they have and will ponder how to get it in
without paying the guy who charged me $400 to put in my clutch slave and
master cylinders. My AC is still leaking, my gas tank is original and will
probably give up when I am up in MA this summer. My rust is coming back.

And to top it off I drilled through the rear speaker wires when I installed
the sliding door screen.

I'll be annoying everyone with Vanagon questions for quite some time. ;)

I don't know what is going on with the list lately,but there is way way to
much time being spent on issues other than Vanagons. You can't tell me all
your rigs are running great out there!!  If everyone want to argue I have
some suggestions:

1) What is the best way to convert a pass van into a poptop?

2)What brand of oil is best?Weight?Oil Filter?.

3)Tires,where can I get them,what size do I need,what is a load rating? How
many ply tires to I need?

4)Why do guys with Syncro's think there better than guys that have just 2wd
vans?

5)I just bought a vanagon because vw's are cheap and easy to own and last
forever. Its leaking coolant but I am not worried about that right now.
Where the best place to get a new stereo?

6)What is the best engine conversion for a vanagon?

7) Where is the hood release on my new vanagon. Now matter what I try.
I can't  get the hood up front to open so I can change th oil??


Can we please move on to something more van specific.....
