Jim, I don't "think" the year of van makes any difference as far as applying the sliding door screen goes. I had to apply all the snaps to both the screen AND the interior of the van, so it was apply-as-you-go. I ended up using some of the screws that hold the snaps onto the van interior, that also hold the vents onto the rails above the door in my WESTFALIA, and THAT is what makes a big difference in just how the screen will attach.
