Boys and Girls, the problem isn't the use of the noun China to
describe something from there. It's not even remotely related to a
business called 'China Freight'.

The problem is the application of that exact term to another business
called 'Harbor Freight'. The term is loaded with meaning. The
listmember who originally posted the term here was advised privately
as occasionally done. This moderator realized it was not an effective
strategy as some of you did not see a problem with that comment as
evidenced by the current thread.

Just to be clear again, terms such as "all the tea in China", "bull in
a china shop", Chinadoll, etc. -- not bad.

"China Freight" as it applies to the business called 'Harbor Freight'
simply because they sell primarily products from China -- not so good.
Calling a person a Chinaman especially when they are not even Chinese
-- not so good.

If it seems was avoiding responding this morning, it's because I was
sound asleep.

REASON for public mod response -- previous request to stop using the
term worked on those pmailed. Did not work so well with those of you
who obviously were not in the discussion.
