Annie,

I beleive any good quality ATF that is Dexron II or higher is acceptable - I'm sure you'll hear other advice on specific brands.

As for filling it - you have to fill it through the dip stick tube - it's a pain unless you use a funnel.

I've never done it but I have seen many warnings about over filling - so be careful.
