Had another VanagonLand scenario today. :)

After I picked up a canoe for my sister, I drove into NE Portland to make a
photograph for my Mom of the house my grandfather lived in back in the '70's
- up on Morgan Avenue.  His house was on the corner, and as I stood in the
street for the photo I could see in every direction.  Within the first block
in every direction there was either a Westy, a Vanagon or a Bus (not even
counting mine!). :)

I drove out to West Seattle Friday to meet a friend and take the passenger
ferry to the Seattle waterfront for lunch.  Across the street was parked
about a '90 Syncro Westy.  Half a block up, where I parked, was a very
clean. again about a '90, Carat with kayak on top...
