We swam in Shoshone Lake in Yellowstone National Park in May three years ago. I say "swam." Actually, it was more like running in and running out, but it was nice. Didn't measure the temperature, but there was snow in the shade, and still some ice in a long, narrow, shaded cove. Of course, we were backpacking, and had no option of such luxuries as showers, free or paid. DMc
