That's what I did the first time, before I got the bottle with the little funnel tip. I had to shave again when I got done waiting for that to finish. : /

Annie, when you visit your FLAPS or WallyWorld, look for little plastic pumps that screw directly onto the top of the oil jug. They used to be readily available for not much $$$.

Failing that, go to a larger hardware store and get about 8 feet of clear vinyl (plastic) tubing, about 3/8" inside diameter - - it's usually used for water applications and is cheap and very flexible. Then take your tubing over to the funnel section and find one that will jam on to the end of the tubing. After removing the 17 mm plug, carefully place the free end of the tube far enough into the hole so that it won't slip out, After crawling back out and standing next to van, pour oil into funnel. Helps if you warm the oil (you can use a pan of hot water), and be very careful not to get any dirt into the funnel. Also helps to put a pan under there so that when it's full you won't make too big of a mess.

When you're done you can rinse out the tube with a suitable cleaning agent, then plug the ends of the tube with small corks or little wads of paper towel to keep it clean until you need it again.

Good luck!

Gary
