These wheels have been available via CIP1 for some time. I like the look of many of these new repro wheels. But as others have pointed out, they are only 5.5" wide. Too narrow for my taste. I already thought the 6" wide Carat wheels were not enough of and improvement on the 5.5" steel rims. Going to 15's on 5.5" seems a step backwards if you have factory alloys now.

I would also be concerned about load rating. On CIP1's ads, they specify the wheels for Splittie and Loaf vans. Why was the Vanagon excluded? Makes me wonder. I have not done all the research. Please enlighten if you have some of insight into the load rating situation.

Have redrilled Fuch 8's in back. By machinist retired so thought about using the Fuchs repros. If only they were wider...
