Thanks for all the info, guys.

Just got home with the motor...carried it in my van, of course. I think I really scored! It's very complete. It has the whole intake, the AC is complete, the PS pump is mounted, alternator, IAC valve in place, almost new silicone plug wires and a two pipe outlet exhaust manifold. Heck, I could probably make my hundred bucks back selling the AC and PS pump, which I won't use. Drained the oil and it looks clean, no metal shavings...no leaks on the motor. It's from a 94 Jetta so that is probably the older style OBD 1.. anyhow, I will take this off the list now to avoid censure for a somewhat 'iffy' general topic of interest to the whole list. As I progress, I will post some pics and update as it gets done.. \
