Chinese cotton canvas - This is a brand new entry to the market. It was offered to me about six months ago. But after comparing it hands-on to what I currently sell, I decided to pass on it, as the fabric was noticably thinner and lighter weight.   Well Ron, there it is. I should have figured it was from China!   I never buy Chinese knock-offs for VW's, I usually always ask my FLAPS counter, but the box looked like it was from Germany  (Had a date range on the box with the word Juno 1980, Juno is German for June), so it appeared that this was from Germany.   It also had a odd smell to it -ad claims it's been treated with water repellent. I wonder what they use in China-   Robert 1982 Westfalia
