if one has a diesel powered starter, then one should put fuel additive in
the fuel for it, lol.
would make a pretty heavy duty starter too.
and ..some giant engines have smaller internal combustion engines to start
then.
but then, some lifeboats have a diesel engines, that have a lever that you
stoke a lot that builds up air pressure in a tank...
and it' uses an air-driven motor to start the engine. No batteries needed
that way.
but a good used starter for a diesel vanagon is a rare thing to me.
core value alone is about 60 bucks.
