That would involve drilling out the clamp screw which faces outward and substituting something inward-facing instead. Have to check the dimensions and access for that -- a neat plastic plug on the inside wouldn't bother me a bit. The crucial element is grinding off a small tit on the lower mounting shaft, but this is very very difficult without withdrawing the shaft first. Yours, David |
