A few years back, Stephanie and I were in southern Utah visiting some of the beauteous spots. Steph got a call from her sister, who told us we absolutely HAD to go spend the night at the campground in Fruita. We arrived, got out of the van and walked around a bit.

We live in Phoenix, from which we like to occasionally escape in the summertime. Neither of us really likes the heat; I start to get uncomfortable above 80, though I am functional to around 105, assuming it is a "dry heat".

Fruita was 102. We talked if over for a few minutes (very few), and decided to travel on. We spoke to Steph's sister later on; she couldn't understand how we didn't enjoy the 15 degree temperature drop from home.

Different strokes, as they say.

Karl
