Normal -- my 25-pint/day unit has about a two-liter bucket. But it's fitted to take a hose.

The VA hospital I've recently been haunting has several big airco units in the ER -- two discharges each, about twelve-inch diameter by three feet or so.. They always make me think of the robot from Lost in Space, or some such. I don't recall seeing big exhaust ducts -- I wonder if they're water-cooled. That's how I'd do it, so you could run a little water hose to carry the heat to where it's convenient to dump it.

But the idea of one of those monsters squatting alongside a Vanagon in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night has me ROFL, as much as my feeble lungs will allow right now. I wonder if the Hoover Dam has electric outlets on the side...

Must be the drugs, David
