Never had a problem crossing the US/Canadian border at the contiguous
states or at the Alaska/Canadian border over the issue of guns. Long
guns such as hunting rifles and shotguns -  no problem. Handguns - it
ain't going to happen.  But then my experiences were before 9-11. Dunno
about today. Someone with more recent experience should know.
