Here in lovely Maryland, one only needs to wait 25 years to register
their non-daily driver as 'historic.' And that means no emissions
test. There was, however, a thrill every other year when my '84 westy
'fast passed' the test. And they never once inquired about what was
under the hood that they never could find.
