Well if the Vanagon is white, that REALLY matters. In that case you'd need to paint the linkage to match. ;)

Pretty sure they're the same. Bentley should show this. And, you could check the listings for bushings etc. on GW, BD or Van-cafe sites. The linkage length should be the same assuming both donors are 4 spds.

btw, I"m sure there's info here, but there's also at least one write up on the swap somewhere on thesamba.com
