dear injector ??

i have a pal who encourages me to pour a container of 2 cycle oil into my
gas and diesel tanks regularly ...
his olde world thinking is that the 2 cycle oil cleans and coats ...
he has a 1948 M-48 mercury as his daily driver ... has had this for more
than 25 years ..
i try to listen as carefully as i can when he speaks about things mechanical
