cool would you like a known-not-good ECU to look at and play with ? 84 1.9 wbxr. It supplies ground for the fuel pump relay full time.

we'll see what it is in the end. I'm not saying it 'is' anything to do with cat/muffler, just that one needs to consider that possibility.
