I'm diggin' my Jetta alternator. Also 90 amps IIRC. Works peachy. Besides. IIRC, you're running w/o AC/PS. If so you can keep the 2.0 accessory bracket and run the VR6 pulley on coolant pump etc.

Or does the alt. from the 1.8 bolt onto that bracket?
