I'm still using my Van everyday, with the old engine. It's back end is all full of bike wheels, etc... I am going to hold off till the very last second to pull the motor and make the block swap. I am waiting on a "Power Steering delete" kit from Techtonics Tuning...I want to have that in hand before I pull my motor so if I need it it is here. My last piece is a two into one collector 'blank' that I just found on the Net. l'll order that tomorrow so I can fab up something down to my current muffler, to take advantage of the better Jetta two hole exhaust header...which came right off (surprisingly) after a little soaking with PB or some such...

The inside of the 2.0 looks pretty fresh..still shows some cross-hatching on the cylinder walls and the head looked perfect. No 'nasty' surprises so far.
