First, let me say how happy I am that this topic has come up on the list. This morning on my way into the office the front bushings were making such a racket that I resolved to figure out what I might be able to do to silence them. The longest quiet period I've gotten from the front end was after I drove Zeno through some mud puddles on a forest road up the west fork of Teanaway. Cleaning off the mud and gunk from the puddle allowed the squeak to instantly return. Anyway it was nice to see you guys have already done my research for me.

Next up, I found a distributor which sells the stuff online. Check out idparts.com. I just ordered a can of the Wurth saBesto HHS-K from them and will let you know how it works out in about two to three days.

This looks like great stuff for the front bushing squeak I've been dealing with on my 84 Westy. I've been using silicone but it doesn't last long.

In trying to locate a good source for this (it is available at my FLAPS)?...

I found some conflicting information as to the availability of HHS 2000. http://www.goodspeedmotoring.com/wurth-hhs-2000-high-pressure-lubricant-0893 106.html

However the "Wurth" site shows both products... with a note that the HHS 2000 in "not" available in Calif. Seeing that the "goods speed motoring" is in CA, that's probably why they have the note.

Now, the question is... which is better HHS2000 or the HHS-K (for my needs to for the bushing squeak under my seat). Seeing that I'm in Michigan, and could purchase either product.

And, does anyone have a good source (low price) for this product?

Thanks!

Jack R. 84 Westy Wolfie
