Nobody here knows nothing about electricity.

I know nothing either but I would guess you have a poor ground. I think VW grounded the cluster with brown wires going to a lug on the firewall. I would check that first, then wait for the more knowledgeable to provide the better answers.

anyone out there good with electric problems?

when i turn my head lights on my tack drops , the coolant light flash's, temp drops etc

anyone have a good suggestion?

i have pulled out the fuse's 1 by 1 and tried to see if anything changes.

#5 seems to have some very slight effect but very minimal.
