I wonder if Chris ever felt the need to hang on to any of his "extras". Iirc he sent the bolts along with the belt I bought from him, but that was a later model shoulder belt. I suppose you wouldn't think at first blush that there was any need to keep and distribute something that one would think would be readily available any/elsewhere but it's probably a good idea to use stock bolts, not only for general safety, but also for the fact that a savvy insurance adjuster (that will be looking for any reason to deny a claim) might do just that if he found that someone injured was wearing a "modified" seat belt.
