Isn't it a little ironic that people who are bothered by Jake's post are telling him not to get bothered by posts??

Just saying...


BTW:  Jake was bothered by the plywood/truck post, not the Vanagon luggage post.  Read the post please.

Jake, the report was Vanagon related.  The luggage that flew out into the road was in a Vanagon luggage rack.  The rack is up there for all to use, if they have a camper.  The load evidently was inadequately secured in a VANAGON luggage rack.  Securing of material in that rack might be a little less likely than on most luggage racks, given its design, with the walls around the luggage, and the tie downs down within those walls.

The fact that this happened in a Vanagon is certainly as much Vanagon content as was the report of the couple being robbed in Mexico.  Both incidents were extremely unfortunate.  Both reports not only should elicit concern for those who suffered misfortune, but should serve as warnings to other persons who use Vanagons.

Good grief, guy.  Have a little concern, and don't get so bothered that someone posted something you'd rather he hadn't.  I'd rather the misfortune hadn't happened, but I'm not going to jump on the guy who told us about it.
