No, Techron is a unique patented cleaner than no-one else is allowed to copy.

Ok, so I've gathered that a bottle of "Techron" in the tank before filling up is the way to go for an injector clean. I picked up a bottle of Pennzoil extra strength F.I. cleaner but haven't used it yet. Nowhere on the bottle or the Pennzoil website can I find this product's specs. Is Techron and the Pennzoil product virtually the same thing?
