Subject: Freeze-12 and other A/C supplies
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

I have found an A/C tech that will come to my home help me with my Vanagon A/C. He helped me get the A/C in my 1991 Dodge Colt Vista wagon going, but in the process, we used up enough of my Freeze-12 stash to require a reorder before I attempt a refill of the A/C on my 1984 Vanagon. I filled it with Freeze-12 before, but did not take care of some leaks and I have not used system for several years. I know I should have new hoses made, etc., but I just want to get through the summer for the time being.

So I have some questions (I already have a new refrigerant drier ready to unseal and install).

Best source of Freeze-12? Should I also order Freeze-12 stop leak and Freeze-12 refrigerant oil? What O-rings do I need for lines to the compressor and the drier and what is best source?

If I can source for list vendors, that is my preference.

Already have a set of gauges, side-tap for the cans, and two-stage vacuum pump.

John in Macon, GA
