hey david I think you worry too much ,but to each is own. The rock is wedged in place and can't go anywhere, unless the seat gets ripped out and then a rock is the least of my worries :). Also it is handy where it is when I need it I don't have to dig for it. This particular rock has been in my last 3 vannies , has never moved and it works very well for what I do with it so I am kinda attached to it now. Thanks for your concern anyway later mark d
