Subject: Westy reefer relay wiring -- the Red wire?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

In the battery box under the driver's seat lives a relay -- shown on 97.32b, labeled "REFRIGERATOR 12-VOLT HEATER RELAY".

There's a bundle of three wires in a single jacket attached to the relay, shown on the diagram:

TO BATTERY + : Red, 2.5mm TO ALTERNATOR TERMINAL D+ : Blue, 0.5mm TO IGNITION STARTER SWITCH TERMINAL 50 : Red/Black, 0.5mm

On my Westy, this bundle goes forward under the driver's seat swivel base then downward through a grommet, near as I can tell by reaching under that base.

My question: where does the "TO BATTERY" wire go?

There are two wires on the engine battery + terminal: the chubby starter cable, and a red wire which feeds the fuse panel, etc., in the dash. The "TO BATTERY" wire connects someplace, but where?
