The aftermarket "6000K+" bulbs that the pre-pubes like are illegal. The
stock HIDs use a ~4300K bulb, which fits the SAE/legal definition of
white. What you call "yellow" for fog lamps is probably amber, which is
allowed. Again, this is for Michigan.


MCL 257.699 "Head lamps shall in all cases emit a white light.
Auxiliary lamps may emit either a white or amber light."
