I added a bottle of Techtron fuel injector cleaner last trip, and the fuel
pump started buzzing.  It gets louder when I slightly pinch the supply line.








My guess is that crud in the tank either blocked the in tank screen (which I
will test by pulling the supply and placing in a gas can).






Or the fuel filter is getting plugged.






Question, is it OK to install a different brand filter like one from a BMW
in place of the little square plastic filter I currently have on my 84
Westy?






I've seen kits available to convert hose sizes, but assume that any hose
adaptors from your FLAPS could work.
