Hey, my local mechanic has one for sale. He's had it for about 3yrs,
sometimes pulls it forward in his lot near the highway and sticks a sign on
it. It's red, an automatic and from 10' looks good. I could go check with
him, he is close by and works on my wife's cars...(I gave up that chore,
since she likes old ones but hates to spend money on em for maintence and I
have a bunch of my own vehicles that I would rather work on if I find the
extra time)
My wife's collection includes a '70 2002 that I had to take to my race
shop and fabricate a whole new rear frame for...it rusted away and a wheel
fell off. She also has a 70 Chev 350 truck with absolutely no shocks that
she drives as a farm truck around the place here. And someone just gave her
a Subaru Forester...thank goodness! Now she doesn't have to complain about
driving her diesel ford truck....That one is getting on, too..and not much
fun to work on...The Subaru is perfect for her......Zero maintainence
vehicle that keeps going and going...
Anyhow, I'd check with ole Ken the wrench and see what he's asking, maybe
take a few pics for you if you are interested. Located about 60mi east of
Portland just off I-84 near Hood River.
I have a 92 cabriolet motor in my van right now and it's very simple, very
dependable and very economical to drive.

You could get it to California somehow, if the price is right and you want
it.
