We don't all have the same capability. What is simple to you might be rocket science to someone else. For example, take porcelain toilets. Can you make your own? I know a guy who says it's easy. Pull the mold. Pour the slurry... all I heard was "blah, blah, pour blah, blah, blah." He says it's really simple. I'll be laying my cash at the counter at Toilets 'R Us instead. I'll bet is will read better if Alistair said: "It is relatively trivial to make your own kit and save some money. Do this..."
