SO I did have a bad ground, and it was because of my stereo exchange.... it took some help from DB mostly and some other listers... the ground was a werid one and I had to follow it from the cluster after realising that the cluster had no ground ( which i thought it did because it work at all) i am still a bit confused to why this ground wet to the stereo and why i didn't need it when i hooked up the stereo. but i have learned a lot about the wiring in the dash of a vanagon thanks to all JAy On 14-Jun-10, at 4:36 PM, mark drillock wrote: > You have a bad ground.
