Ahh we were not. Now we are. Those are being made again as well. I call those rain gutter deco strips. Not really sure the exact name but I know what you mean now. They come is silver/chrome plastic on early vans and black for the later models. Since we were on the subject of weather strips, I thought you meant the rubber strip which has metal rib intended to be bolted with 8mm screws near the door hinge to reduce wind noise. I have seen both for sale. I'm pretty sure it was at GoWesty but likely at Van Cafe, Bus Depot and possibly with other regular listvendors. Anytime a difficult part becomes available via the secondary wholesale market such through Vanagonparts.com, it doesn't take long for most of the retailers start carrying the part. I don't mean to exclude other sources. I'm just naming those that are coming to mind at the moment.
