I have only seen the shockproof as it was drained out of a trans and it seems to be "sticky" compared to the rest of the oils...Stringy and definitely approaching the 140 wt oils. No feedback from guys who have used it as it seems most of them are off roaders or racers who beat them hard and are not really street machines. The MT90 is a good all around stock hp oil that shifts nice when cold and will smooth out some notchy synchro's at times. High HP engines can wear the ring/pinion prematurely, so an oil like Swepco 201 is appropriate. The Porsche racers use it with great results. I personally ( and no expert on the chemical properties) feel that most name brand synthetic oils are pretty similar these days as the additive packages have improved so much over 10 yrs ago or more. GL5 is fine these days and its not so important to use only a GL4. Most of the trannies I take apart have been used with GL5 and not any significant brass synchro wear is evident. The big key is to change it every 2 yrs or so.
